Congrats to Jammal Brown

"New Orleans Saints left tackle Jammal Brown was selected to the Pro Bowl as a replacement for injured Washington tackle Chris Samuels. Brown started 15 games last season, missing one because of an ankle injury. The fourth-year player will be making his second appearance in the Pro Bowl. He also was picked in 2007. Samuels has a torn right triceps, which caused him to miss the end of the regular season. " New Orleans Times Picayune

Hey SMEDLEY...WAKE UP THE DRAFT IS IN DAY 2! I guess you are waiting until afterwards to explain away the debacle of selecting an inside LB when we just signed Waters and signed some dude named Vilma last year...Oh yeah what about the pick of Chip Vaughn (S) when we just picked CB soon to be S, Malcolm Jenkins?!?!?!??!

Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis have once again shown that outside of obvious first round picks (see R. Bush, M. Jenkins and S. Ellis) they have next to no ability to evaluate talent (Colston, ok...but, so far I'm not sure he is even the best receiver on the team after everyone proclaiming him the next Randy Moss after his rookie year).

Look at 2007, Usama Young = horrible, Meacham in the first, what a joke!, A Pittman = gone, we acquired Stallworth = gone and just killed somebody...Bushrod = awesome name but wasted pick.

Look at 2008, Ellis = good pick, T. Porter = who knows at this point, still hurt....Demarrio Pressley, I dont know if he is even still on the team, doesnt matter if he is, he is garbage

Thank god for Al Davis and his medication, otherwise, this duo (Loomis and Payton) would be known as the worst draft day decision makers in the league.

Still waiting Smedley
